TVOTR's a lot of attainable disc rolls out admirable alt-rock and thwumping approaching alarm that's balmy and avaricious - from the arena-Pixies "Caffeinated Consciousness" to the Prince-ly "New Cannonball Blues." Vocalists Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone still accept backer enslavement and ecology anarchy on the brain. But even the song that goes, "Beverly Hills, nuclear winter/What should we abrasion and who's for dinner?" has a attractive whistled refrain.
